Here’s what real users are saying about the tools, coaching, and community inside the Support Squad.

“Dr. Emily gives so many examples, strategies, and structured guidance that I left feeling completely prepared…One thing I loved was Dr. Emily’s enthusiasm and expertise—she doesn’t just provide songs, she provides a full framework for songleading. The downloadable materials, transition notes, shopping links, and age-appropriate teaching strategies made it easy to implement right away.”

Marcy Morris, Cantorial Soloist

“I’ve found my kiddos to become more engaged in music class and I’m feel more confident in how I’m teaching, engaging, and connecting with my students. From the babies to the 5 year-olds, they have found both the joy in music and Judaism and I couldn’t ask for much more than that”

Sarah Silverberg, Cantor

“A curriculum putting language and musical ideas together through easy to follow steps for rockin (and developmentally appropriate) Jewish song sessions? I didn't think such a thing existed, but it does. I highly encourage anyone who wants to revive the musical culture of their Jewish community to take this training. Dr. Emily has created a how-to song-leading manual that is easy to follow, conceptually clear, and filled with joy…. I would recommend to anyone interested in Jewish songleading because it delivers a strong, practical foundation and the tools to make an immediate impact”

Marcia Weinstein

“Working with Dr. Emily has been an incredible experience in honing my craft as a Tot Shabbat leader. She is a generous mentor, providing a wealth of resources and practical insights that I can immediately apply to my sessions. Her passion for Jewish music and education shines through in every interaction.”

Jewish educator, musician, and curriculum designer

Emily Aronoff

Meet Dr. Emily: Educator, Songleader, and Advocate for Jewish Music Education

Dr. Emily Aronoff, Ed.D., is a Jewish educator, songleader, and curriculum specialist with over 20 years of experience helping communities engage with Jewish learning through music. She holds a Doctorate in Jewish Education from Gratz College, a Master’s in Curriculum & Instruction, and a Bachelor’s in Jewish Studies. Her research on Tot Shabbat and family engagement has informed practice across the Jewish educational field. As the founder of Dr. Emily Celebrates and the Songleading for Kiddos Support Squad, Emily created this membership to offer the kind of structured, joy-filled, and developmentally grounded support she wished existed earlier in her career. She knows firsthand the time crunch, the creativity drain, and the deep desire educators carry to make Jewish music meaningful for kids and families. This is the perfect time to build something new—because educators need support more than ever, and Jewish communities are hungry for connection through music. Emily brings a rare blend of scholarship, empathy, and lived experience as a single mom of three, a curriculum designer, and a performing artist. Her work has been featured by PJ Library, URJ, ACC, ISJL, and NewCAJE, and her original music appears in Manginot: The Complete Jewish Songbook for Children and across six albums of Jewish music. Whether she’s coaching a new songleader, designing a curriculum, or leading a room full of toddlers and grandparents, Emily brings deep expertise and contagious warmth to everything she creates.
